Hi everyone,

This is my first post, and I am really sorry if this question gets asked all the time, but i did a quick search, and couldn't find anything recent on the main site, so decided to ask on here.

Long story short, I dropped my Orange (the network) Sony Ericsson C902, and the screen has cracked. I really have my heart set on an iPhone, and was planning to, when my contract expires, change to o2 and get myself a 3GS.

However, i am now thinking about getting one now, since my phone is usuable, just awkward. I'm not sure if i can cancel my Orange contract early, as i doesn't expire until Feburary 2010. However, according to the website, i can upgrade from November 2009. I'm assuming this is if I stick with orange.

So, doing a little research, i found an interesting article (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/33951/O2UK-iPhone-exclusive-to-end-on-October-9th). It says that the exclusivity will end in October, meaning i will be able to upgrade with Orange earlier.

My question is - is it worth waiting for it to come to orange, or is this not going to happen anymore?

Any replies appreciated,

Thank you.

noone knows if it is 100% coming to orange, and the rumours so far are that only the 3G is coming, not the 3GS

also bear in mind that there will be a new iPhone in june/july

I went into the carphone warehouse today to ask about what my options were, and I mentioned that i wanted an iPhone.

The woman told me to wait for Christmas, because it'll be on Orange by then.
