Hi

So after deciding I am going to wait for the release here in the UK.

Shall I:

- Pre-order online?
- Buy at Apple Store first day?
- Will there be reservations?

So, may I get it a few days early pre-ordering? Or shall I just goto the store the morning it arrives? Or will I be able to reserve one at a store to pickup that day?

Any tips appreciated, thanks.

I can't tell you what's best for you, but myself, I shall reserve online on the 10th May, and get it delivered to my house (or work) depending what day it is released.

I'm really hoping that there will be reservations for in store collection. I hate the whole ordering online and hoping it arrives on release day and I also don't want to have to queue for ages at store.

If they don't do the reservations then I'll have to order online and be patient I guess!

I want to reserve and pick up on the day. Assuming this will be an option.

I like the idea of going in and getting it first thing in the morning of the release. I expect the release day will either be the Saturday (29th) or Monday (31st) of May depending on how Apple want to play it.

If reserving is not an option then pre order and having it delivered would be next. Am aiming to get a 64Gb wifi only version as long as it comes in at £600ish.

I couldn't be arsed to wait another month, so I got my 16GB of eBay for £420(including shipping), and I'm enjoying my iPad right now!

I'll be pre-ordering. The nearest Apple Store is in Southampton - always crowded there.

I'll be pre-ordering and getting it delivered. Not very near an Apple Store and it will be too much hassle traveling to get it.

My nearest Apple store is also Southampton, it's about 45 mins drive for me. I'd rather not have the hassle and just wait for it to be delivered.

How much notice do you guys reckon we'll have about when the actual UK launch day is? I have to figure out if I want to book a day off work.
