Interesting. I got my S4 six months after it was released for just over £300.

They do depreciate pretty quickly nowadays.

They do, but the phones themselves seem to start off overpriced and then come down pretty quick. I seem to remember the s4 starting off at over £600.

Yeah but I think by comparison, iPhones used to have held their value quite a bit better.

Saying that, I did finally notice - after selling my old iPhones on eBay for 4 years - that my iPhone 5 got considerably less than I expected.

The whole smartphone market is probably just getting saturated now.

With iPhones it seems it depends on when you choose to sell a used one. As long as a new model hasn't been released you can usually get a very good price, but as soon as there's a new model, the price plummets.

Well I got £300 from my iPhone 5 like two weeks before the release of the 5S..God knows what I would of got had I waited two weeks
