I am currently in the process of buying a iPhone (UK ) and I would like to know any experinces UK T-mobile users are having with anything really with there unlocked iPhones on the t-mobile network (eg: what internet browsing like with it, etc)...

jsut sayin you are aware you cant fuly unlcok a uk iphone to any network atm???

generally t mobile internet brosing has ben pretty reliable. Edge is good, its good and reliable.

Yeah thanks for that, I will most probably use it as a iPod touch for the moment until a unlock is achieved... Hopefully things will look up when Apple and Orange (france) release the unlocked iPhone..

Also could i use it for a ipod touch till unlocking status is achieved?

I believe you can, yes - you just need to jailbreak it.

I don't get it. Don't you still have to pay for the O2 contract...?
