Ive got a three MIFI unit and it's unlocked, I'm going to NYC next week and wanted to get a data pay as u go sim. Firstly does such a thing exist in the US?
Or could I buy an iPad at & t iPad micro sim use and adaptor and run it in the MIFI unit? Does an ipad micro sim need an iPad to register?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if such a thing existed but I just found out that you can rent a mi-fi for around $10/day, typically with a 3 day minimum. I know a couple who rented one in lieu of paying for wi-fi at their hotel last month in Washington DC.

They had it shipped to the hotel waiting for them when they arrived and had FedEx pick it up on the day they were checking out...

I hope this helps...

Cool thanks not a bad idea I'll do a search for mifi rentals in NYC might work out cheaper.

Thanks again.
