I'm pleased to announce a new version of Ulti-Planner Calendar has hit the AppStore which adds a bunch of new features to the powerful calendar including a new Projects module, along with new weather and lock screen widgets.

The new Projects module allows you to manage your projects with a more status based system, simulating Kanban Boards. It also allows events to be associated with the project and will install a custom calendar filter that shows just that project's events and reminders. And it allows associating contacts for quick texting and emailing of the project group.

The version also adds advanced weather using WeatherKit, to show you localized weather for events, as well as a more advanced forecast card for your weather for the upcoming hours and days including wind and sunrise/sunset.

A bunch of other new features and refinements have been made including two new lock screen widgets, enhanced hashtag entry, a 'start on' option, other UX upgrades, and reminder upgrades including a card based list system to go along with the Kanban type theme of projects.

For those not familiar with Ulti-Planner it is a new for 2023 calendar that we believe is a contender for the top calendar on iOS. Based on our other highly acclaimed calendar apps, it has been completely rewritten to be more powerful, flexible, clean and lightweight. It offers advanced customization in 7 calendar views, and advanced reminder and contacts, in a modern card based UI.

Use our basic version for free with our advanced year, month, and week views, designed to be usable without any interruptions. And then give premium a try free for 14 days to see if the advanced features take you to the next level.

Thanks.

I would be tempted to try it if the Apple Watch was supported.
Thanks for the reply.

It is definitely on the list. Ive been trying to come up with what could be th differentiators on the Watch that I can do, most of the calendar's Ive tried with watch apps don't do much of anything that much better than Apple's calendar app, which this shares data with... Im open to ideas....

If your app has a good layout and offers good weekly and monthly views, good reminder support and natural language support that allows me the ability to use the watch to make appointments, along with viewing the calendar etc. that would give me incentive. I used to use Fantastical before they went sub, and really liked the layout and watch ability.

I don't always have my phone with me or find it easier to turn my wrist to do what I need, versus going to get my phone. I don't mind paying for a good designed app with integration but, I think the watch support needs to be there.
