Ultimate 13" MBA 4GB - iTunes Visualizer slow/choppy?

Hi guys, just for comparison: are your itunes visualisations as slow as mine? they dont play fluid in fullscreen, no other apps running... Seems kinda odd to me..

Since Apple made some mystical changes in one of the iTunes 10 updates visualizer has become choppy...started when I had MacMini and continyes on my 11' Air as well...

I noticed the same thing, which doesn't happen on my base 13" MBA. That's why I eventually returned my 11" Ultimate ... I'm waiting for a little faster processor or beefed-up graphics capability. The stutter was just too disconcerting and happened across a number of different applications.

Seems to be a bit better in 10.6.8..or iTunes 10.3.1...haven't checked which update improved things...
