Ultra violet sport band

I recently ordered a ultra violet band 42mm.

One thing that struck me as being odd was the 38mm band had a lead time of 6-7 weeks while the 42mm had an in store pick up of 2 days.

The apple store called, and I can imagine the discussions they had, to inform me the order was in but the order had been fulfilled with the Flash Sports loop.

Recently, Apple had changed the availability for the 42mm to Dec 21.

Yesterday I received notification the UV is to be delivered today.

Has anyone received the UV band?

I ordered one about 10 days ago. The online Apple store said 4-6 weeks, but my credit card was charged 10 minutes after I placed my order and it was delivered to my door the next morning. I literally received it within 14 hours of placing my order.

The color is stunning -- I love it. It looks great with my 42mm Space Grey Series 3 LTE...

Then about 4 days later I received a shipping notification.

I have it on today. I bought 2 different variants of purple polos and a purple patterned oxford shirt.

Out of all the bands the orange checkered nylon, orange sport and the purple sport seem to draw the most compliments.

I happened to stumble across an X at the apple store. While I was setting up the new phone a lady was updating her series 0 watch (which took foooooooooooooooooorever) she saw the orange checkered bands and asked a few questions. I took off the ceramic and handed it to her. she put it on and ended up buying the black checkered. and ordering the purple.

After she paid for everything, the watch was still updating, she turned to me and asked me to stop talking to her because I spent too much of her money.....

I really wanted this band. I ordered it in September from Best Buy but it kept getting delayed and my order got canceled. Now on my Apple Store app, it simply says Unavailable. Every other color is in stock.

The first one I ordered was a store pick up.
Apple sent the wrong band. I was rather disappointed. I reluctantly reordered and the shipping notice soon followed. I was kinda excited to see which band I was going to receive.
