Interesting story,

I got mine for $52

Met someone with two broken 3g's.
Told her I'd fix hers for free if she gave me her other broken one.
Fixed hers for $26. Fixed mine for $26 (replaced glass on front) and my newly fixed 3G still had issues (unrelated to cracked glass) and they swapped it with a new/refurbed one.

So there you have it. $52 iPhone 3G 16GB!
