Check notebookcheck for the comparison. Short answer is in heavier stuff ulv is noticeably slower. Both are nothing special though.

The biggest drop is in graphics speed. The ULV chip as used in the Samsung series 9 laptop is abymsal in graphics performance.

on-topic: No clue

Off-topic: Woah, turn down the intel hate, guys, they might be limiting our graphics but they supply us with increased CPU power, which is a great thing, for everything the MBA is intended it will be nothing but an upgrade.

- I hope to see perhaps faster ssd's as well, so that the aftermarket ones won't hold that much of a speed increase.
