Umm....I just opened a Word Document in an Email....

Umm, i'm a little confused. To my knowledge we haven't had the capability to open up Word Docs...but I just did. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about this.

Have we always been able to do this??

I did it the second day I had the phone!!

not a new feature. Thats been there since release

The confusion is over the fact that you can't edit them. Read only. Same with excel (I think) and .PDF documents.

You can view, just cant edit and send back as a Doc or txt attachment.

What's really ironic is that it will open MS Office 2007 documents which is a feature that's not possible yet on all other Apple.

iWork '08 opens the new MS format, too.
