im running cydia eraser on my 5s just now... for fun. boy that takes a while...

... and it works... reverted the 5s to 9.0.2 unjailbroken, exactly like brand new!

Not necessarily. I think signing up for iOS beta and running 10 for a while, then downgrading to 9.3.3 should do the trick.

As long as ios 9.3.3 is still signed then you could downgrade from beta or from any version you want.
Once 9.3.3 stops being signed by Apple you can never restore to that version. Doesn't matter if you're on ios 10, or on a beta or ios 20.
