Un-partition / Re-partition Question

My friend essentially needs to un-partition his partitioned hard drive. His "PC PC" as he likes to call it (Piece o' Crap PC) has a D drive with 50 GBs of free space, however his C drive only has about 100 MB of free space left. He is getting the old "low disc space" message and is slowly running out of space.

I tried using Partition Magic on it, but says there are too few clusters. Any ideas on how to remedy this situation?

Mate, I've got nothing. Could your friend back everything up, reformat and reinstall?

I think he'd rather not, but he may have to. I thought Partition Magic would do the trick, but either I'm not using it right, or, well, it doesn't.

Maybe it needs more free space to work. Who knows.
