Unable to access Date & Time settings

When I try and access the Date & Time settings on my iPhone 3G, it just goes back to the home screen. It's kind of like an app crashing. Has anybody else had this problem? Any ideas on what the reason might be/how I can solve this?

Have you tried restarting (holding down sleep/wake button) or resetting (holding down sleep/wake and home buttons) your iPhone?
