Unable to access keyboard and mouse settings in MBA 1.0

When I try to select this option in system preferences, my system just hangs indefinitely. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I was considering getting the four finger gestures up and running, but I had only thought about it, and did not actually start doing anything to the computer. Maybe they are reading my mind and punishing me?

It has been like this for a couple of days through multiple reboots.

Same on Macbook Pro 15 inch

I just got my macbook pro 15 inch back from the Apple store. The hard drive failed and they replaced it under warranty. Everything seems to be working okay, but I can't access the keyboard and mouse settings. It is driving me nuts not being able to right click and use gestures.

I didn't know MBA rev. A had four finger gestures...

You can install them using a disc from a new Apple. Anyone found a solution to this?
