Unable to activate Keychain

Hello folks,

after some time using Big Sur i have noticed that my Keychain is out of sync with my other iOS devises.
After checking iCloud settings on mac i have noticed that my keychain selection is grayed out and is not checked.
When i check this setting, after small amount of time its uncheck itself without any notice.

Does anyone have an idea how this can be fixed and what can be a potential cause of it?

Sometimes issues like this are resolved by logging out of iCloud, then logging back in.

Question on Big Sur Keychain. If I upgrade my 2018 MB Pro to Big Sur will it still sync my Key Chain and contacts with my 2012 Mac Mini Server running Catalina (won't upgrade)?

As long as you have Keychain enabled on both devices, there shouldn't be any issues as far as I am aware.

I was concerned because Catalina won't play with prior OSs.
