Hello,
I have an iPhone X which I was able to back up through iTunes on the MacBook Pro 2014 model, but it fails to back up on my new MacBook Pro 2018 model. I get this error (also attached a screenshot).
"iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone "iPhone". Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings"
I am using the latest version of iTunes and iOS as of now, but the error was the same in older versions as well.
The problem is that if I restore, I will lose all data and configurations. Is there a way to overcome this error? I tried to Google for this error in vain.
