I don't burn CDs very often, but all of the sudden I can't burn songs from the iTunes Music Store to a CD. I can burn the songs using the finder, and iTunes can burn CDs with AACs and Mp3s, but the minute I put a Protected AAC it pukes:
iTunes gives me a Medium Write Error and then makes a coaster.

This happens on my 550mhz TiBook with 768MB RAM using a LaCie Porsche burner.

Does anyone else have this problem, and more importantly has anyone figured out a fix?

Have you tried slowing the burn speed down in the Advanced section of iTunes Preferences? Also, I assume the songs are playing in iTunes and have been authorised. :)

Yeah, I thought of both things. I can play the songs and move them to iPod, etc. and I tried using the burner at several speeds including 1x.

Thanks for the ideas, though.
