I’m unable to change my iMacs alert sound. When I go to System Preferences > Sound > “Play alerts and sound effects through:” The “Internal Speakers” choice is grayed out. If I click on any alert sound, nothing changes. The alert stays the same chirping sound. Under “Output” I have “Internal speakers” “Built-in Output” selected. Any one know what I need to do to fix this?
