Unable to check for updates

I installed iPadOS 26 on my M2 iPad Air yesterday, but when selecting “Check for Updates” I get an unable, try again prompt. I already tried restarting my iPad. Anybody else seeing this on iPadOS?

I’m not seeing iPadOS 26 in Software Update. It reports “iPadOS is up to date: iPadOS 18.5”

You have to select the iPadOS 26 beta and not the iPadOS 18 beta.

Same thing happened to me on an Ipad 9th gen. I did a reset and went back to 18.5.

I would not be that worried yet, next build arrives in about two weeks.

You have to select the iPadOS 26 beta and not the iPadOS 18 beta.

Thanks. That occurred to me after I made my post. I’ll wait for the .2 release anyway.
