Unable to connect my Apple Watch Series 0 with my Airpods Pro

I don‘t think the original Watch will run a version of WatchOS that supports the ‘device switching’ capability of AirPod Pro, so you would need to connect to them as a dumb Bluetooth device. For that I suspect you need to unconnected them from you Apple ID first then pair them directly to the Watch (triggering this by pushing the button on the AirPod case).
