Hi

This evening I was trying to stream a movie with my MacBook Pro (non-retina, Mid 2012) on my AppleTV (3d Gen), like I did last week.
The AirPlay and AppleTV show up in the menu bar but when I try to connect, a message is prompted: 'Unable to connect to 'Apple TV'.
I restarted the computer, the internet connection and Apple TV + updated its software. Unfortunately the same message still shows up. This, while I can connect my iPhone 6s to it and MacBook Pro Retina Mid 2014) and knowing I watched a movie last week using the same method with the same computer on the same connection and Apple TV.
Is there anything I forgot to check?

Thanks in advance

Lorenz

you say "restarted... the internet connection"
does that mean reboot the router? if not try doing that.
