When I go to Settings > App Store > Your Computer Is Set to Receive Beta Updates > Do Not Show Beta Software Updates, it automatically reverts as soon as I close settings. And I keep getting prompted by the App Store to install the latest beta.

I decided a while ago that I wanted off the beta train, but Apple doesn't seem to want to let me. It's just a minor irritation, but I'm curious whether anyone else has the problem, or knows of a solution.

This is what I had to do (if KALLT's suggestion fails).

Download the beta enabler app again from dev site.
Go into Settings as you mention in your original post and uncheck.
Launch the beta enabler app again and enable.
Reboot
Go in and disable it again,

It took that SECOND run and uncheck before mine stopped.
