All of a sudden this morning, if I delete emails on my iPhone, they just reappear straight away. I'm using a.mac email address. Anyone else seeing this?

Please follow the below instruction for how to delete message from iPhone...
  • Open the Mail app on your iPhone and tap Back.
  • You will see the Mailboxes screen. Then, locate the Trash folder there.
  • Now tap edit and choose multiple emails on the iPhone you wish to delete permanently and click delete.
  • If you wish to empty all email trash at once, select edit and click on delete all button.
Thanks Lucy. But I want to delete emails from my Inbox. When I do delete, they just reappear in the inbox. I've just noticed a little message saying there's a server issue.

I use a .mac email sometimes, just tried deleting a couple sent to that address, and not seeing them reappear. Are you still getting the server error?

I'm getting an intermittent error message. I think there's something wrong at apples end. I'll see how it goes until tonight before calling apple. If there's an issue no doubt folk will post up here :)

@scouser75, there was an issue earlier according to Apple System Status
