Hello,

I wasn't sure if I should put this in High Sierra sub-forum or here. So I installed the beta of High Sierra to diagnose some issue I had with my new iMac. I am unable to delete the High Sierra partition from inside Sierra. When I select the partition, the minus button is grayed out. Is this a known issue? Is there anything I can do to fix it other than wiping the drive and starting all over?

Thanks.

I think so,,,,, when i did mine and trashed High Sierra on a dual partition on my Mac mini, instead of using the button, just use the pie chart to expand one, or shrink the other...

That still works... but i had that same experience on mine as well.

I tried that. I was not able to shrink the High Sierra partition. I could shrink my Sierra partition, but that is not what I want to do.

Did you try and remove from main partition ?

Here's mine:

In this case High Sierra partition is selected and then the hyphen should be visible. Do this from Sierra? not High Sierra... as you cannot remove partition you are booted into.

No partitions can be deleted. I selected them all and looked at the minus button and it was grayed out for all partitions.
