"Could not be downloaded at this time"

I've been getting these messages for weeks when trying to download or update apps. It doesn't happen all the time but often enough. I thought the latest ios was supposed to fix this? I get an error message in itunes when updating apps to.

Any ideas?

No I haven't. Can I fresh install then restore a backup or would that be pointless? Just thinking about gamesaves, messages etc. I did noticed this error message on someone elses phone to though when I noticed they needed to update loads of apps.

I would fresh install, restore from backup, and hopefully that resolves the issue.

I've had it happen sometimes, but I read somewhere that it normally happens when the app is being changed e.g. the price is being modified etc. - though I don't know how that would affect the Updates...

It usually occurs when you have a struggling internet connection, so are you sure that you're not being disconnected on the occasional download?
