I'm using Xcode 14 (Beta 2) with macOS Ventura (Beta 2), and whenever I plug in my iPhone XS (iOS 16 beta 2), it briefly appears in the devices window and says it's fetching the debug symbols. Then, it just disappears from the list, and doesn't come back until I plug it in again.

I've tried the following solutions:
  • Restarted phone and computer multiple times
  • Tried different cables (all from Apple)
  • Reset SMC twice
  • Reinstalled macOS
  • Reinstalled Xcode
This wasn't happening before with macOS Monterey, so I'm assuming it's because of Ventura.

Does anyone have any other solutions? If there's no other options then I'll probably just downgrade back to Monterey.

Edit: soooo I tried it on my iPad 8 (also on iPadOS 16 beta 2) and it worked just fine, but it's still not working on my phone.

I checked the settings and developer mode is turned on. Thanks for the reply though!

After updating to:
  • macOS Ventura Beta 3
  • iOS 16 Beta 3
  • Xcode 14 Beta 3
My phone is now working with my computer.
