Unable to forward documents using WhatsApp web from iPad: however no problem with forwarding using WhatsApp app on iphone.



The documents (pdf, docx etc) forwarded from WhatsApp web on a tablet computer or laptop, are not accessible on the WhatsApp app at recipient’s end. The documents show up on the WhatsApp app of recipient device but upon clicking on them nothing gets downloaded on the device. However if the sender forwards the document using WhatsApp app, then there is no problem accessing those documents at the recipient’s end.



Kindly confirm if forwarding documents using WhatsApp web is disabled. Otherwise what’s steps to be taken to enable forwarding documents using WhatsApp web instead of WhatsApp app.
