I wonder what's up with this. All that I did was put the driver disc back in Beta or the Leopard disc today.

It worked just fine on two Macs every time, even in beta.

Which is why I asked if you installed the drivers that Apple provides.

Contact Apple and order a replacement OSX disk, they should be able to send you one for a nominal cost. THEN read the BootCamp instructions and follow the instructions to the letter.

To the OP: I can help you but I am having a bit of trouble understand you as you have switched your dilemma within two posts.
First you say you didn't like the Mac OS so you popped in your XP disc and reformatted? Am I correct in understanding that you actually removed OS X and installed Windows? How did you do that?

Then you say your OS X disc was actually broke which is why you are now using Windows only on your Macbook? Which one is the truth?
How could you have possibly broke your Mac install disc?

If I understood you correctly the first time then you need to buy a copy of Leopard and don't attempt removing the OS next time. Now if I am incorrect please tell us the real deal.

It's pretty easy when you're in the Windows installer. Just delete all the partitions and make a new one for Windows.

Then you say your OS X disc was actually broke which is why you are now using Windows only on your Macbook? Which one is the truth?

I found it questionable as well.

The Leopard installer disc would be the best bet.

Odd since you can sometimes go down to the Apple Store and pick up a copy of the DVDs free ... or call Apple and get a replacement set sent for somewhere around $19.95

Heck people probably have the new Apple Leopard generation drivers floating around somewhere and available for download.

People have uploaded the leopard boot camp drivers, so you should be able to grab them.

---

As far as getting replacement System Restore DVDs free, some have been that lucky -- most people have to pay for a replacement set.
