You have 1GB free on your phone after downloading the installer? If so, I don't think that that is enough room.
If I remember correctly, the DB2 was just over 2GB. I believe the Public Beta is about the same size (from what I have read).
Damn. Only got a 16GB phone so gonna need to clear off most of my stuff to do this.
