Long time listener, first time caller. I enrolled my iPhone 6 the Public beta, and have kept up on updates until 9.1. In prepartion for the public release of IOS 9, I deleted the Public Beta profile from my device (probably 3 days ago). Despite having deleted the profile, I continue to receive a message every time I unlock my device says g that a new beta is available for download. When I check Setting | General | Software Update, I see that my device has already DOWNLOADED the 9.1 Public Beta. My only option is to install, which I do not want 9.1.

I also tried connecting my device to iTunes. ITunes said that my carrier had released a new OS version. I attempted to upgrade to it,but as soon as I said upgrade, it said complete. The process literally took 2 seconds. I still receive the prompt when unlocking my device, and still only show 9.1 as an option to upgrade to. I'm extremely disgruntled over this. My new SS Apple Watch came today (upgrade from Sport) and I can't install Watch OS 2.

I've searched the forum for similar issues, but I don't see any that directly mimic my issue. Any help would be appreciated. I have considered a Reset via iTunes, nut not all of my apps and purchases are being backed up, and I'm afraid of losing paid content.

Thanks

Delete the downloaded update from Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage and that should allow you to update to 9.0 after that.
