Guys:

I think I'm going out of my mind here. Since upgrading to Big Sur, I can't open any HFS or HFS+ volumes on my rMBP. I get an error that says no mountable file systems. I've tried just double clicking the file in the Finder, Disk Utility and Terminal. All fail with the same message.

Are HFS and HFS+ volumes no longer supported on Big Sur? I'm running 11.2.2.

Thanks

pac

HFS+ definitely still works in Big Sur. I don't know that HFS standard does.

Huh. Looks like HFS Standard was dropped quite a while ago. Wonder how come its carried one working previous to Big Sur.
I know it was in a read-only status for some time so it wouldn't surprise me if it's gone altogether now.
