I just turned on my new Mini and attempted to pair it with my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The mouse worked fine, the keyboard however is not working. The screen now displays a message saying "This computer has connected to your keyboard. Enter the passcode below and press return." There is no passcode below. There used to be, and I typed it in and pressed enter but it just asked me to do that again, about 7 times. Now there is no passcode. What should I do?

Thanks for any help!

EDIT: never mind. I restarted the Mini and it worked this time.

I had the same problem with mine. I ended up plugging in an old keyboard and using that for setup before trying to setup the BT keyboard. All working now though! ;)

Same Problem

I had the same problem.

I switched out the battery on the keyboard, restarted the mac mini, then it happened again. I turned the keyboard on and off and suddenly it worked.

Seen that too.

I was setting up a series of Macs... and it happened on two of them.

One, a battery pull and a reboot fixed it... on the other, nothing short of borrowing a USB keyboard to finish the setup worked.

After it was set up, running the Bluetooth Setup Assistant found it instantly. No clue why it wouldn't find it before.
