Just wondering if anyone else has been unable to pay with the Sonic app. It hasn’t allowed me to pay with Apple Pay or with various debit and credit cards for a couple of months. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, deleting and reinstalling the payment methods, creating a new account, talked with Sonic tech support, making sure that I’m up to date with the app and iOS. Also tried paying on an Android device and an iPad with no luck. My wife can order and pay on her iPhone 11 Pro Max using the same credit card just fine. I can pay everywhere else with Apple Pay and my credit card. Not sure what to do but wipe my iphone and set up as new.

I was thinking it might be since I’m on iOS 14, and I was on the developer beta, too (wife is on iOS 13), but that doesn’t explain the difficulty in Android.

While not a huge deal, I would like to be able to take advantage of the app offers, especially half price drinks.

I’m having almost the exact same issue. My iPhone 11 Pro works fine but my wife’s iPhone 8+ does not allow her to pay or check in. The app recognizes her geo location but the Pay tab is not there. Like you we’ve tried reinstalling several times. We’re both on latest iOS version. My check-in/pay icon resembles a red credit card while hers resembles a red paper bag so the app seems to recognize something is different. Same as you we set up the same credit card on both and Apple Pay which both work everywhere else on every other app except Sonic. Very frustrating.

Worked fine for me for like over a year. Then I got my 12 Pro Max and it had been working for about a month. All of a sudden it stopped. It says processing with Apple Pay then there is an error but they still pull the money out of my account. After that I have to have them refund me it half the time because they don’t. It is very irritating.
