Unable to print via Mac from Windows

I am having issues printing from my Windows box through to my Mac, which attaches directly to my Epson printer via USB.

Although (after a wait) prints are successful according to windows, there is no activity or output whatsoever on the printer itself. I can print fine from my Mac, and have enabled windows sharing and have enabled to share the printer on the Mac. Windows would appear to think everything is ok, Ive entered the IP and Hostname of the Mac into the path (\\TRINITY\EPSON). Windows prompts me to install the R300 driver, which I have done sucessfully. Any ideas why this isnt working for me?

So I take it its connected to your Mac? If so then on the PC you can just go to add a printer, select a Network Printer, then click browse and your Mac should show up with the printer under it. Click once on the printer to select it and then next through the rest of the wizard and you should be set. Mac OS X.4 (Tiger) makes this even easier and more reliable than Panther was.

****To print from Windows to a Mac, you must install the "Apple color laser" printer driver from the list of drivers you get when installing a printer.

This is a common mistake. You MUST install the Apple drivers.

Mine works with the regular Brother Laser Printer driver in Windows.

Have you tried the new Bonjour for Windows app? Works a treat for me- just install it on the PC, and set up printer sharing on the Mac.

I have the same problem. I'm using Bonjour on the pc to add the printer. When I print from the pc, it sends it successfully to the mac. the print utility for the mac receives it and says the print job finished successfully. However, nothing comes out the printer! lol. I can print from the mac just fine. I'm using 10.4.1 with an HP PSC1315. Thanks.
