Tonight I am trying to purchase AppleCare + online for my new iPhone 7 Plus. Unfortunately, I can only get so far. My steps are as follows:

1) Go to https://www.apple.com/support/products/iphone.html and click the blue "Buy Now" button

2) Enter Serial Number and security code

3) Click the blue link "Learn more and buy now" under "Eligible for AppleCare +"

4) Click the blue "Buy" button

5) Sign in with Apple ID and password

6) Apple sends a 6-digit verification code and I enter it

7) A new page loads with link https://agreements.apple.com/us/en/sales/purchase?d=0

8) Page is blank and stays blank

I tried in two different browsers and tried the process both on my Mac mini and on my iPhone.

If anyone knows what could be the issue it would be appreciated. I would prefer doing this online by myself over calling Apple or going to an Apple store.

Was one of the browsers Safari? I only ask because I have had similar experiences in the past when using browsers other than Safari to complete transactions with Apple.

Yes, my default browsers are Safari on both my Mac and my iPhone. I used Safari first on both and then Firefox.

I think I would bite the bullet and call them. It is possible that your transaction is actually going through and you may be buying multiple copies of AC+. Probably not, but it could happen. Phone calls are just as secure.

It can't be going through - I never put in any payment information and never finalized anything. Plus, it would show as my phone having AppleCare + when I search its coverage, and it doesn't. But you may be right about having to give up and call in. I found another thread from March where someone mentions the same thing.

Well, the website is working this evening for my new Apple Watch, but the diagnostic isn't. I followed the steps as instructed and the diagnostic tool runs on my watch, says tests are complete, and then when I press the button to proceed on the website as instructed it states it cannot contact my watch. Tried this multiple times, turned devices off and on again to no avail. Frustrating. Will just call, chat, or go to the store if I can't do it myself a few days before the deadline to add Applecare to the watch.

I tried to get AppleCare with my iPhone SE about 2 months ago, and had the same issue where I couldn't get the diagnostic. I called apple's main phone number, and they walked me though a process to have my phone send the diagnostics to them (somewhere in the settings app, I can't remember exactly where it was) and then allowed me to purchase it durning that phone call rather than go to an apple store. It took about 15-30 minutes total after I dialed apple's number.

Just wanted to follow up and post that it was successful for me tonight! My watch now has AppleCare +. If you were facing issues as well (whoever is reading this), you may want to try tonight.
