Device: Apple MacBook Pro 2019
Last Known OS: Catalina
Device Age: 14 months

Challenge: Unable to do a clean installation of any OS

Error: Download Installer Information to the target volume failed

Story:

I’m selling the device so, I followed this guide:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201065

Then I created a bootable drive just like the old times (Owner of MacBook Air 2012 13inch, MacBook Pro 2015 13 inch)

But, it is not working at all.
The device doesn’t allow me to re-install the OS via bootable drive.
Also, with the internet recovery the device is showing ‘ Download Installer Information to the target volume failed’
Please, tell me how to fix this.
Regards,

Stupid Apple Customer.

It could be Security settings, but I don't think even Full Security would interfere with Internet Recovery? I can't test because I'm not in T2 Hell.

Where is the break point when you try using bootable drive?
