Unable to see ‘On my iPad’ in Files App

Hey Guys

Fairly new to the iOS ecosystem however I am very intrigued by the features on iOS 11. I installed the public beta 3 on my iPad Pro 12.9 inch and am liking the changes thus far however, i am unable to see the ‘On my iPad’ selection when using the Files app.... i did some searching on this forum and found that if i saved something from Safari to the Files app it should start showing up, however i tried this and again was unable to see the ‘On my iPad’ selection...any assistance would be greatly appreciated ...

I'm guessing this is your first time using an ios beta. They are glitchy AF. It's the nature of the game. The whole reason they are out there are for developers to test their apps to have them ready when the iOS updates so they don't lose sales and for the public to help find glitches and report them.

This could be nothing more than a glitch. Or even a feature that might not be turned on. Report it and move on to the next thing.

It’s a glitch in this beta that the section doesn’t show up until you’ve saved something new into the My iPad section, even if things are already in there. Not sure if Safari works but I know that saving a photo from Photos will. Select a photo, share to Files and it should show up in Files after that. Note that you will have to share to an existing folder.

Thanks for the ideas Feenician but it doesn’t seem to work for me....already reports using the feedback App....but was really hoping for some other workaround....
