unable to transfer purchases from iPhone to itunes

i am on iOS 9 with a iPhone 6
with the latest iTunes.

and when i update apps on my iPhone, then sync my iPhone they should sync and update my apps in iTunes, but they do not.

i do not know what is wrong?
i did a fresh install of iOS 9.

and some apps had new updates on my iPhone so i updated them and tried to transfer them to my iTunes and nothing happened.

what do i do?

I don't know if this is of any help but tonight when syncing my iPhone and updating to iOS9, we had some message about not all my purchases being transferred. Took us a while because it didn't do it for us or tell us what to do but we got them transferred over by going to iTunes, File, Devices, Transfer Purchases. Like I said not sure if will help you or not.

It could be an issue with App Thinning - discussed here

For the current apps in question just redownload them in iTunes then also select automatic download of apps in iTunes on the Mac for future purchases. Hopefully it will be resolved in future but this at least is a workaround.

In the past, you can transfer purchase from iPhone to computer in this way:
in the iTunes menu at the top of the screen: File > Devices > Transfer purchases

But transferring purchases from devices with iOS 9 has been disabled by Apple. If you really need to transfer purchases, you can try FonePaw iOS Transfer.
