I've got an early 2013 iMac, Fusion Drive, anyway I rarely use the machine as I stick to a macbook and iPad, but yesterday I went to use my user account, and I'm unable to type properly?
What I mean by that, is the keyboard missing out letters when I type, not being able to enter passwords etc etc. at first I thought the keyboard itself was dodgy (apple one) so replaced the batteries.
Shouldn't have bothered, as when I logged out and into another use account (non admin rights) I'm able to type and use everything with the keyboard correctly? To remedy the problem I did the following:
- issued the following command in terminal
defaults delete -g
- deleted com.apple.HIToolbox.plist through finder and all relevant library files.
- upgraded the machine to High Sierra from Sierra
But none of this has fixed it? So what gives?
Anyone got any clues?
