Unable to unlock 3g!

Followed instructions with Pwnage to jailbreak and unlock but it updated Firmware anyway.

I had a previous 3g jailbroke and unlocked but it froze and wouldnt come out it. I had the phone replaced because it was cracking(known issue on white 3g)

Took it home. Jailbroke like I did before but now its updated and Im stuck

It is now on 2.30 firmware. I know I am unable to run yellowsn0w now.

Any help would be appreciated

I think there was a tool available to downgrade the baseband.

Ive tried to downgrade the baseband but it times out and never changes the baseband.

If the phone is newer then I bet that the boot loader is the wrong version anyways.

Your firmware is 2.2.1 but I'd bet your baseband is 2.30. Unfortunately you can't downgrade, tho I've seen that there is software to allow for this. Your boot loader needs to be a specific version however, which your phone may not have.

In other words, I don't believe you'll be able to unlock that device any longer.
