New MacBook Air with M1 Apple Silicon. I'm unable to use Apple Pay, as it says the security settings have been changed. I went through the steps on the Apple support page (command-R, options, security settings, set to maximum). The security settings were already set to full/maximum. Still no go on Apple Pay.
Suggestions?
Thanks all!!

UPDATE:
Got it sorted. Different security certificates for the M1 chip, so the card issuers removed the cards. I had to delete them, and then add them back into Apple Pay. Once that was done, everything works normally.

Was just looking for a solution to this! Did you need to contact each issuer? Which department did you have to contact for your bank?

Shouldn't need to talk to the issuers yourself. Just delete the cards from your wallet, then re-add them.
