So Steve Jobs WWDC keynote is approaching and I'm getting a little excited. Its usually fun to follow the liveblogging of the event and he puts on a good show.
What I'm wondering is if Apple has any software tricks up their sleeve that they have not revealed in their OS 4 beta. For example, a lot of people would agree that the iPhone could be improved by an optional, customizable, lock screen information display so that you could get data from a few widgets at a glance. Another popular feature that is popping up on other smartphones is mobile hotspot capability (not saying that AT&T would immediately implement it in the US, but Apple could still make it a native capability of the software as they do with tethering).
I don't know, I can dream, right? The OS 4 beta has been out for a long time and from leaks we know 80% of what there is to know about the new generation iPhone hardware. If Apple hasn't been keeping anything secret, this could be a relatively boring Jobs keynote.
