Positives-
Display is massively improved from 1st gen
Nearly no more Bezels
Fluid Performance with Pro Motion
Gestures are easy
No Notch
Lots of people have USB C chargers
Will increase productivity for many
Negatives-
Face ID is hit or miss with me because of my autism
Keyboard Folios from Apple represent poor value, and they aren’t my cup of tea, same for their lack of fast chargers
Minimal improvement for people going from 10.5 last year
I don’t use it anymore, but no headphone jack
With the potential bending problem, and with this large investment, AppleCare+ is a Must.
Developers have not yet updated many apps
Overall Thoughts-
If you had a 12.9 before and could go down to 11.5 inches, get this. If not it represents questionable value. It is a beautiful product and you will not regret it, but you will feel it in the wallet.
