Well guys. I've done it. I've bricked my iPhone. I only thought morons would be capable...but when trying to uprade to 2.0 my laptop ran out of batteries in the middle and totally died. And now i've tried to restore with 1.1.4,1.1.1, and 1.0.2, and nothing works.

I seardched all over google but there is NOTHING for a 1.1.4 unbricking procedure. Please...please...somebody help. I'm dying here.

thank you

I literally just did the same w/ ZiPhone minutes ago while trying to unlock my Gen 1 phone.... *****

**edit.... mine just switched back on and seems to be working fine

Try blindly taking it into DFU mode and see if iTunes will catch at all... otherwise this could *possibly be covered by apple or fixable by a genius since you were playing by the rules!!

Good Luck.....!!

It is very difficult to actually brick an iPhone completely, and the term is overused unfortunately. So chances are you just need to get a good restore done. I'd try put it in DFU mode (not recovery mode) first and then restore to 2.0.
