Uncap Youtube video bandwidth limit on 3G?

Watching youtube videos on 3G in the youtube app is really bad. The resolution is even under 360p.

The only way to get good youtube videos on your iPad when you are on 3G is to use the youtube desktop version in safari.

Is there any hack for the iPad so it thinks you are on WLAN while in reality you are on 3G?
