Sorry if this has been asked... but since I'm 16 and don't have any credit and can't sign a contract... do you think I could buy an iPhone, enter my information in iTunes, most likely be denied and be offered the option to go Pick-Your-Plan (or whatever it's called). Can you do pre-paid when you're under 18?
 
No - you need to provide the last 4 of your social when activating if you are an existing customer. If you are a new customer a credit check (with social) is required.
 
If you're under 18, then it should automatically allow you to use the PAYG plan. Since there's no contract involved, I would think it wouldn't be an issue. But, AT&T hasn't been very forthcoming about using the iPhone under PAYG plans, so....
