I still have an M1 mini 8gb RAM 256gb SSD. I was deciding weather to get an M4. Tradein is only 230 dollars USA. And the price match up to 10% but no Costco or Amazon.

One thing I did not like was the power button on the bottom. Weird place to put it. But mounts are finally popping up like this under desk one.

Now I like the placement of the button on the bottom. Makes it it easier than reaching in the back of the mini.

And I like this too.

Etsy

Keep it on it side and easily turn it on.

Or this is another option.

Etsy

This is good too. Raises the mini a little and hides to small external hdds in the back.

Etsy

Or this is good too adds a little pullout drawer in the back but a little pricey.

These are some great ideas. I'm a desk top person so a stand that holds the M4 on its side is what I would get. Good cooling and access to the power button.

I 3D printed a button for mine, so it's on top. But then decided to mount it under the desk so.... if anyone needs a button, I'll ship it to you for the cost of postage ;)

Or can the mini be left permanently upside down? Will it hurt if it runs upside down?
