I don't quite understand exactly how Mobile Me works. Here's how I *think* it works and I would appreciate it if you could correct me if I'm wrong.....

When I sync my computer to Mobile Me, my contacts, calender and whatever I designate get sent to a server somewhere (i.e the cloud). This info. can be accessed and wireless transmitted back and forth between my computer, my iPhone and Mobile Me. Also, it will "push" info to and from my computer and iPhone so they stay in sync. For instance, if I'm out in the field and make a appt. in my iPhone calender app., this change will (at some point in time) be reflected on my computer back at home. Furtermore, if I make an appt. within iCal on my computer, it will eventually end up on my iPhone.

Is this correct?

Anyway, here's my situation. I have a failed attempt at using MM (from months ago) but I'm pretty sure the info. still exists on that server (cloud) because I still have a MM account. Now I want to try MM again but I don't want that existing info. on the server to exist. I want to wipe it out and start all over again because it just screws everything up when I go to sync. So, is there anyway to erase all data on MM after which I can initiate a new MM sync and start out fresh?

I hope this makes sense and thanks for reading my post!

Delete it from one of your sources (like the web interface). Deletions will pass on to other devices on the next sync.
