I've got a Sony DSC-P7, and I've been taking some pictures in Hawaii when I scuba dive. The photos were taken in about 30 feet of water with 60+ feet of visibility. Anyone know any tricks in iPhoto or any Photoshop filters or anything of the like to help make the colors in the pictures appear more accurate?

do not only take one single filter. results are just too "computer-made".

- use photoshop, not iphoto. iphoto macig-tool is way too much non-proffessional
- open your pic
- make a second layer
- layer in the front: image-adjustments-autoLevels
- probably the result is too "hard" and colours are too different than in reality
- controll the result of the front layer by yourself with image-adjustments-colourbalance and opacity of the layer
- if you want to see variations, use: image-adjustments-variations

i recommend a subaho diving torch. you'll get much better results of your photos from the start!

btw: my company did the web-design and most of the graphics.
have fun!
